Derby Big Draw is a festival of drawing aiming to connect the  artistic community as well as get people drawing. Initiated by Beth Heaney, it coincides with the national Big Draw organised by the Campaign for Drawing that takes place across the country every October.

2010 is the year of the first Derby Big Draw but it is hoped that it will become an annual festival giving information about all the drawing activities taking place including workshops, talks, exhibitions and special Derby Big Draw projects. Everyone will be welcome to participate in events organised by artists, groups and venues across the city.
